Being farmer isn't cool. Computers, IT, technologies, sales, white collar shit is cool.
Wearing dirt-stained working clothes is for "uneducated, dumb, rednecks".
For me wearing stained working clothes is much more rewarding than wearing a suit. There is something magical in growing your own produce. Something soothing and peaceful. Love it.
I felt this way until I discovered that plants are toxic to humans.
Now I raise lambs and calves for meat. The food God made us to eat.
My crop is grass
Lambs are for fuckin, not for eatin
I disagree. Farming is as cool as the photogenic people glamourizing the work while extremely talented people take the photos and write the stories.
There are a ton of farming channels that make farming look cool and a great approach by just documenting their journeys and showing the world their value systems.
It turns out, it, tech, sales white collar shit is just as much drudgery as farming is.
I like looking good in nice city-slicker, business attire, or business casual attire. I'd take a desk job in air conditioning any day over blue collar agricultural work because that shit can be back breaking work depending on what you're doing.
Being the data scientist for the megafarms? Yeah, I could do that.
Everyone has their place in society.
The coffee stains on my shirt at the end of the day count to!
How about everyone just eats only what they can produce. No more, no less. Make selling food , stealing food, loaning or borrowing food a crime.
"cool" jesus christ, this mindset of "can I be liked by others" is complete "I'd like to be a slave" mentality.
"Can I be liked by others" is one form of soft power, one that was and is used extensively by the left to dominate their cultural influence in cities. It's how they were able to make ideas like importing shit tier races into your countries and cheating on and divorcing your husband so widespread and accepted.
Yes, you're right that it works mostly on the weak and impressionable, but the weak and impressionable are kids and without keeping the kids from being brainwashed this will never end.
As someone in the white collar IT shit, I'd love the hard work and self sufficient life and being able to work hard with my hands. I know the grass is always greener, but imagining a monotonous life of building something as menial as cabinets is cathartic. I do have hobbies and home improvement projects when I have time, but it just slightly scratches the itch.
