I would just totally move out of state for a single weekend, change my address and get a real license in the state rather than a (((digital license))).

I no longer own a smart phone...just a basic flip phone. I'd imagine you'll always have the option to just not get the DDL, but the un-useful idiots will be the one's that can't figure it out and just go along with it.
