Any non-authoritarian system will either collapse on it's own or will be subverted and corrupted if not outright crushed by a more effective authoritarian system. Fascism is your people united to protect the people against those who would seek to destroy them, and would succeed if they stood as individuals. You can't fight an evil authority with individualism, you can only fight it with a morally good authority. That doesn't mean fascism always succeeds but at least it has a chance however small. Interesting how you call the USA fascist, the USA is certainly authoritarian but it's absolutely anti-fascist. Fascism is authoritarianism when the authority is aligned with the will of the people. The USA is a direct result of individualism leading to authoritarianism. Why do you think every single (((hollywood))) movie and young adult novel has the message of a plucky small group of individuals successfully resisting against a totalitarian system. From Star Wars to Hunger Games it's always the same message because that's what they want you (who are their enemy) to think works, when it's suicide. (((They))) fear fascism because they know it's the only way their evil authority can be challenged, scattered individualists are irrelevant to them.
