While I’ll admit that your comment was ambiguous enough that I can’t prove you wrong, nobody calls a state count, “the election,” in regard to a presidential race. No point in arguing because we’ll never reach a conclusion, we’ll just have to settle for “you say that you meant the state election and I say I don’t believe you.”
