I think it was Jefferson who said something to the effect of (sic) “the tree of liberty will occasionally need to be pruned.”

I’d it was necessary, not good, given that England was under the control of the (((bank of England))) at that point. Which as I said in the comment you’re replying to, I recognized the need for.
