I wasn’t talking about communism per se. China has a very very long history of its people being conformists. Conformity runs deep in their veins, that’s one of the reasons their neuroticism is so high. Prof Dutton explains this far better. They are also the oldest civilisation to have urbanised the longest. That alone creates a different mindset. They are used to living in very tight quarters, and eating bugs.
