Their fat is super nutrient rich. you can put that on anything. you get a cut? put bear fat on it.

I have had bear several times. It's best in a thick stew or smothered in barbecue sauce. You need something to cover up the nasty taste. If you have eaten raccoon or opossum it's pretty much like that.

Brown bear? No thanks. Pretty universally considered inedible. In fact, alaska, which has extremely strict meat salvage laws, does not require brown bear meat to be salvaged
