The heritage conservative talk radio station here in LA is 640 KABC. The local jocks are all passive aggressive Conservatives, and have the balls to refer to the Mainstream Media as an outside entity. "Can you believe the Mainstream Media said __________ today?" There is no more mainstream media than terrestrial radio. They are the original information gatekeepers... That said, IMHO, AM/FM radio is a completely dead medium, propped up by corporate ad dollars, and little else. Even worse, when you examine the demographics of who's still listening, you'll find it's pretty much the same people that are watching CBS, NBC & ABC - old folks. *Worked in commercial radio in the mid-90's, still have friends/colleagues in the biz - not just talking shit, heh.
