Thing is half of California is a desert and was a stupid place to start anything. Northern California is not a desert. Hell the only good thing southern California can do without stealing water is have a port for goods from overseas. Terrible place to build huge cities with desert natural conditions and a major earthquake zone. Heck if it wasn't for the gold rush California would likely not have a large population except for illegals below San Fransisco since mexicans were not the gay population capital as I learned it was when I was young but now it's like you'd have to be a retard or have more greed than sense. If it wasn't for Silicon Valley most people in that area would have left the fucking place when the dems made taxes so fucking high for stupid made up reasons like the poor.
