Here is another great Jefferson quote:

"The principles of the amendment however were agreed on, that is to say, the freedom of all born after a certain day, and deportation at a proper age. But it was found that the public mind would not yet bear the proposition, nor will it bear it even at this day. Yet the day is not distant when it must bear and adopt it, or worse will follow. Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people [blacks] are to be free. Nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion has drawn indelible lines of distinction between them. It is still in our power to direct the process of emancipation and deportation peaceably and in such slow degree as that the evil will wear off insensibly, and their place be pari passu filled up by free white laborers. If on the contrary it is left to force itself on, human nature must shudder at the prospect held up. We should in vain look for an example in the Spanish deportation or deletion of the Moors."

Excellent quote. Do you happen to know the source?

Its right out of Jefferson's autobiography. I believe it was originally a letter to his best friend William Short.

Here are some more choice Jefferson quotes about blacks. Modern society may consider what Jefferson says to be "racist" or even "based". What he really is is honest.

Substitute Banks for jews and it'll be correct.

Wait. Being homeless brought liberty. I figured it took seven dollars a day to be fine with it. The only thing I had to do was not die. In a city that was number four for death in the USA. I just had to be not black with a big mouth. Easy. Banks do not know me. They own you jealous ass

Try raising a family while being homeless. I am sure the kids will love it.

[–] 0 pt

That's different. Nobody goes homeless with kids around. Yes things happen but men always go to work to save the kids.

The term homeless is such a hard word.

No one should ever be homeless

you should because you are a retard who can't tell a fake

What's fake? That's an age-old Jefferson quote

Hey Tommy boy; Whites were in the Americas by ~10,000 years before chinks took the land bridge. So we didn't conquer anything.

[–] 0 pt

Ok. So. Government banks?

[–] 2 pts

Government reserve currency. Private banks are fine, the federal reserve is not; it is neither federal nor is it reserved

What? What is your point?

Did you even read the quote?

Go take care of your prolapse.

What's wrong with government banks?

[–] 1 pt

People are retarded. They think government owned anything = communism. That's why corporations control the country and make the laws through "lobbying". Disagree with anything and you're communist

Omg! Bigot Racist!! Are you even ever legit hitler right now?

[–] 0 pt

That's not what the quote is calling for. It's warning us not to let private banks handle the printing and valuation of our money.

First off, fuck snopes. Stop giving the cheater and his hooker clicks.

Second, while it isn't a direct quote, even they say that if fits his thinking on the subject:

Although Jefferson certainly expressed disdain and mistrust of banking institutions and paper currency on many occasions, this particular quotation bears all the hallmarks of being a retroquote — “words placed posthumously in the mouth of a well-known dead person”

Let's not be a cunt about it

Was that English? No, it's paraphrasing. They shouldn't have taken the liberty, but that doesn't discredit the message.
