Speaking without irony here, this is not actually as stupid as it seems to most people.
Corporations are actually marxist concepts, they constrain the freedom of business (since they are obligated by law to work in the interest of shareholders), they go against personal accountability (the corporate personhood absorbs legal responsibilities for the actions of it's members), they undermine free markets and centralize production (through monopolies/oligopolies, and lobbying), and there's a lot more.
It's not surprise that corporations, being a socialist concept in themselves, would always come out in support of the ideology that actually is the best representative of them and the interests they have by virtue of being corporations.
