The government shutdown has highlighted the SNAP program. While the GOP did not intend this they should take full advantage of it. We should demand that this program be fully returned to the states.

Is the GOP the party of small government or not? Only 12 states have banned soda and candy. Only Florida and Texas ban foods like potato chips. If states want to let their SNAP leeches buy these items they should pay for it in full. If states want to allow non-citizens to receive benefits, they should pay for it in full.

But will the GOP do anything with the current momentum regarding SNAP abuses? Absolutely the fuck not.
