Two simple things Congress can do today to better protect us from rogue federal agencies:
1: Rewrite law so officials like Rod Rosenstein don't get automatic immunity, as in my case, when they oversee illegal acts & are sued in civil court (since DOJ won't prosecute itself or its own)
2-Pass new law so that corrupt agencies no longer control victims' access to depositions & materials needed to sue in court (since DOJ won't prosecute itself or its own). Right now, the law requires us to get permission from DOJ-- the guilty party-- to access the evidence. It's like prosecutors having to ask an accused murderer if he will, pretty please, turn over evidence against himself.
