People want some levels of communism / socialism. It's a simple to understand system, it "solves" some of their problems. I believe we need to provide a system that provides some of these communism / socialism wants, without destroying free markets and freedom.

Ie Socialism / communism programs can ONLY be implemented on a city or at highest county level.

One of my "compromises" was no dollar for a socialism / communism program is allowed to travel more than 5 miles or 30,000 people. Ie in a dense city a dollar for a welfare, retirement, or medical program can only travel 1 mile instead of 5.

People at one end of the state, city, or even country DEFINITELY should not be paying for ANY free stuff for people on the other end of the state, city or country.

If you want the country to operate as it originally was supposed to you're going to have to shrink it dramatically and only allow those who want it to be that way in. And you'll need a system for kicking out those who don't.

My proposal would be a country that has two countries inside it. One FULLY capitalist. The other communist. Sting votes or some other method of weeding out those who want communist / socialist policies to be moved to the communist sub country.

Or possibly at the age of 18 ALL residents of the capitalist country MUST move to the communist country. They must then prove themselves to be readmitted.

I'm saying way too many people want the government to run shit if not nearly everything and even if you had a country of 100% people who didn't and a system that didn't, a big portion of their kids would want the government running everything. Because it's easy to understand and too many people are fucking dumb.

So the problem of socialism / communism either needs contained, or those who want it need booted out and those who don't brought in.
