Can you hear hell sing
The eden-song of long ago?
Where the birds of paradise
Once Gathered golden apples
By the scented river of babylon.
From the tree that tried to reach
all the way to the sky.
But can you hear hell sing
The eden-song of long ago?
At eveningtide when the sunsets low
Fathomless kingdoms on the clouds
Whos golden rays fade to blue with
the coming of the night.
Perfumed wind carries the totem fire
Up into the ancient sky.
"Eden! Eden! Lost eden!"
"Paradise of unearthly delights."
"Oh eden, where art thou eden!"
"Though we search for you in vain"
"All the days of our lives."
"still beyond the grasp, as firelight"
"may reach the stars, and even further still!"
We who trapped upon this earth,
Heaven above, hell down below.
Standing between each other, the conduit
of all possibilities.
Can you hear hell sing?
The eden-song, our song.
Hoping to remember, striving
to steal fire.
Can you hear hell sing
The eden-song of long ago?
Where the birds of paradise
Once Gathered golden apples
By the scented river of babylon.
From the tree that tried to reach
all the way to the sky.
But can you hear hell sing
