When I lived in London, I loved Whitbread Ale. But it got bought out by Anheuser Busch, and when I bought some ten years ago... it was just fucking beer.
i know, Budweiser would buy out popular beers(competition) then tweak the recipe to save millions if not billions...and the average bloke wouldn't notice....they themselves got bought buy imbev...it's all really disgusting...I need to get back to home brewing

We Brits love sausages, but they look underdone if I'm honest mate. If you've got some chunky sausages to cook, top tip is to cook them in boiling water so they're cooked through then fry them in dripping until brown (fry with onions is an option too). When you're plating up, pour that cooked dripping hot over the mashed spuds.
And also, 1lcemonkey, Heck chicken sausages are pretty fucking good. Not sure you can get them outside of UK though.
