Great for greasing pans and adding a bit of oil to steamed veggies or salads, etc. This one is loaded with vegetable oil, I put Olive Oil in another. Had one I used for years and years that finally crapped out on me so I ordered some of these from the Bald Guy's site. Pattern is OK, could be better, but it pumps well and the size is nice. Looks a lot better than the old used sprayer I used to use as well.

you can get pessurized spray bottles.... like the hair spray where you hand pump to build pressure and spray away... misto i think they are called

Ya, that would probably work better, but these will be good enough. Back in my Machinist days we used small refillable compressed air "WD-40" (just light oil) sprayers that would be the ultimate kitchen oil sprayer, although they were pretty big.

just make sure its food safe, oil can break down plastic

These were labeled as such. BPE free as well (supposedlY)
