In my world putting cheese on chicken noodle soup is redonkulous, I don't even care if it pleases one's tastebuds. You are free to crust your soups up as you see fit though.

i love a nice grated cheese on any soup. it adds a new dimension to it. and a generous dollop of sour cream to a beef and mushroom soup is tres bon.
