EDIT: there's a little bug on the production server. Working on it! FIXED

To block a domain simply click the one you want to block next to a linkpost's title and a red "Block" button will show up on the top of the domain page.

Posts from blocked domains will still show up when linked in content or comments, they just won't appear in your /home and /all/ front page anymore.

There's no limit on how many domains you can block, but you can only block domains that have been shared as a linkpost on Poal.

There's obviously no manual way to enter a domain name that has never been shared before.

To unblock a domain, go to your user profile and click "View blocked domains" in the sidebar.

Thanks @Ivan for the suggestions

Sweet. I’m blocking Poal.co. I don’t want to see what any of those weirdos have to say.

No don't! You're gonna create a black ho

A black ho? As in Beyoncé or Stacey Abr

Nice feature to have! Thanks AOU!

Level 10+ can now block domains

Everyone always said collecting fake internet points wasn't worth anything. They were wrong. Truth hurts.

Sweet, brb I gotta find a gateway pundit post.

So is this good for not wanting to be tracked with site cookies from shitty websites that are linked on here? Im not technical enough to know what this will do for me.

Poal removes the referrers for external links, which means websites can't track you because they don't know where the clicks originated from. They only have the IP (you are using, ISP or VPN) and some of your browser informations.

Ah ok. That's cool. Thanks for explaining it to me.

Thank you! This adds another, more fine-tuned parameter in addition to users and subs. Eager to use it to get more of the content I'd like while not "throwing the baby out with the bathwater"!

SWEET!

Edit: seems to work including unblocking domains.

Here's my list for now: https://pic8.co/sh/gdlBVa.jpg

Fixing a stupid bug at the moment.

Feature will come back soon.

Yep, just noticed the blocked domains are gone.

I don't know if this is a bug or if I was testing during a deploy, but when I blocked babylonbee.com, and then unblocked it, the option to block it wasn't there. That was probably just the fix in progress though.

Alright, should be good now.

Can finally block the jew site gatewaypundit? Score

You could have done it before with Adblock rules or Tamper/GreaseMonkey.

It’s just much simpler now.

This will come in handy for those stinking paywall sites.
