Last night, I've disabled an entire range of unicode characters accepted by the title because someone thought they were a hacker for using non displayable/printable unicode character sets.
I'll customize the regex to whitelist all the regular ones we've been using and you'll be able to Make the Title Great Again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The other site strips them and responds like it was an error letting you know it stripped them so you know to go edit if needed. Can just put the stripped version back in the same error reply with error different message. Or do it by stripping them all, and compare. If not equal then error message. Most can just hit the button again.
As an idea.
No problem and thank you! On a side note, how can we report someone who's spamming links in their comments?
Haha, I'm already working on that report feature with the admin ui. It's coming soon.
In the meantime you can ping us with a comment ( and )
Mahalo! I like the idea of just reporting suspicious stuff as the decision as to whether something is truly allowable should be up to you top dogs, not me.
