Unrelated. Not sure where to post but noticed linking to a comment, the 'sign disappears causing a 404.
Edit - The sign im talking about is the hash tag or pound sign , which i see now disappears on any comment

That's not an issue, it's just happening because your account is limited (markdown is disabled to prevent abuse).
