Open "Edit sub Info" in the sub sidebar, check "Enable new post notifications" and click save.

The owner and all the mods/janitors of a sub will receive a notification when a new post has been submitted in a sub with that option enabled.

Edit: You might wanna consider enabling this for low activity subs only as a notification for each new post will be sent to each and every owner/mod/janitor of subs with that feature enabled.

I have been here for over a year, have around 1700 points, but yet i cant create my own subs

You’re level 13, the minimum requirement for creating a sub is level 10.

Check the left sidebar on the home/all pages.
