For a site like this, it can be a pain in the ass to see random comments and posts be deleted, but I think for the sake of respecting people's information privacy, we should able to easily and permanently delete what we've posted off the database, or at least easily overwrite it or disassociate with it.

Share your thoughts on whether or not you think this is a good idea.

For selective auto-deletion (i.e. mass deletes of your own content that you don't manually delete individually) we'd want to have either:

1) highly selective options (delete all comments by date, subverse, mentioning "____" (word), responding to "____" (user)... then "these "___" (number) comments are about to be permanently removed from the record (and show a list), are you sure? y/n") OR
2) not have the feature

I do believe that users should have the option of what of their utterances remain on Poal proper. But I know there can be archive.is

I think having a nuke it all button is better than no option at all. That's more control than Voat ever gave us.
