...I've figured out a new way to do it without registering/applying for an API key (that would most certainly get revoked almost instantly).

Anyway, the best way to share Twatter links is to use an archived link (will remain valid even if the tweets and their comments get shoaed).

New code is still under test and will be rolled out soon.

To all the technical people here i was wondering if anyone has purchased an API key. If so what are your thoughts on using it for data mining. I've been playing around with making a propaganda detector using ai to try and give me a look at the newest astroturf campaigns before they become accepted/mainstream. It would be tremendously helpful for the labeling and supervised learning process if i could use the past tweet data. But i don't want to give money to the actual glowniggers by paying if the api sucks. Any experience working with it? What are your thoughts on the raw data and the flexibility of organizing the data? I have such a strong feeling the API is dogshit but it is the only way to get previous tweet data.
