They have become the new public square by design and with the assistance of the government. The censorship and propaganda need to be resisted.

No one has the time to follow thousands of innate, meaningless comments from thousands of people every day. Twitter relies on social platforms like Poal to curate and direct people to specific tweets. Then people will spend time on twitter looking for more interesting or controversial topics. Then they start arguing on there. Then they get the idea that they can spread their ideas on there, conveniently forgetting the power twitter has to censor you without you even knowing. Meanwhile you get inundated with propaganda.
