Bug found? If you enter a thread through a notification of a comment, that comment will always stay highlighted.

That's not a bug, it happens that way because when you open a poal link from your PM box (comment replies), it then takes you inside a comment thread where the reply is.

That's why you have that blue menu bar at the top of the comments telling you aren't inside a comment thread.

That has been that way for over 2 years. Your suggestion in ideasforpoal eventually pushed me to apply it to main comment threads (it was already doing it but only with the left border of the comments.

Using dark mode and noticed this a couple of hours ago, the incessant blue blinking is distracting af.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm using PCs with Waterfox, Firefox, Brave all behaving the same. Hardly ever use mobile.

Suggestion: second click un-highlights it. On mobile I keep getting highlights as I drag to scroll, which make it harder to read.

Only the root comment of the thread gets highlighted until you select other thread below.

The children comments also get highlighted but only when you mouse over (no click required or touch event on mobile).
