1,000 points to be able to make a subverse....Rather high in my opinion, but I understand wanting to prevent a slew of subverses being created by people who won't stick around. Still, I hope when you say "temporary" you mean it, because there are newly active users here who intend to remain active and have ideas for subs that would help grow the content here.

It will be several months before I get anywhere near that.

Hear! Hear! Strongly seconded. Where did you see the 1000 point number?

The welcome page lists the following levels with their point correspondences:

Level 2 (40 points) -> green
Level 6 (360 points)-> yellow
Level 20 (4,000 points)-> orange
Level 30 (9,000 points)-> red
Level 50 (25,000 points)-> blue Poal logo
Level 100 (100,000 points)-> red pill

Level 10 isn't listed, but with this information a basic formulate can be derived to see how the poinbts requirements are decided:

Take the Level, square it, then multiply the result by 10.

Level 2: 2x2 = 4, 4x10 = 40

Level 6: 6x6 = 36, 36x10 = 360

Level 20: 20x20 = 400, 400x10 = 4000

And so on. Therefore the Level 10 point requirement is:

10x10 = 100, 100x10 = 1000.
