Well we arnt supposes to downvote based on a i disagree or i dont like this, so in order to express dissatisfaction with content i block the sub, well you can go see how many people subscribe to it, and you can see all the upvotes, but theres no downvoting shitposts in shitsubs, so it looks like a unanimously supported place. But the reality might be three times as many people block them than subscribe to them. I feel that should be shown
I don't think there's any good reason to show it. I see blocking a sub as currating what you see, not expression. If you want to express yourself, comment or post something expressing your dissatisfaction.
Wouldnt that get old, if everyone who thought shitposters sucked dicks, always commented just to say that? Thats what downvotes are for, but thats "not what they are for". So things get blocked, which removes the negative opinion and leaves only the positive opinion of the other shitheads.
Just my take on it. But i firmly believe the best option is downvotes
