I wanted to rename a mostly empty subverse, so I disabled the old one and now I still can't create a new one.

Now I have neither. How many levels do you need to "own" more than 1 subverse?

Can I fully delete or disown the old one somehow?

Why does a disabled sub count as me owning a sub?

Because disabling != deleting. Instead of disabling subs, one could advertise them for adoption in

Starting level 2 you can own/mod 1 sub, at level 3 you can own/mod 2 and so on (max 30 subs).

I've re-enabled your sub so you can manage the transition for when you'll level up and be able to create more subs.

Is there a way to disown or delete subs then? I don't see a button for it.

There's no way to abandon or delete a sub (to prevent abuse).

We would prefer if you find someone to take it over, then contact admins ( or I) to request a sub ownership transfer.

We renamed and the sub is empty though. Oh well I can just ignore it.
