He spams 50% of the content here and it's all just bullshit that his bot grabs from other sites. I am looking to improve my Poal experience and blocking him would definitely improve it.

If I may offer a suggestion. Perhaps the account that is used for posting be a user account, but separate that from admin actions.

Would a "sudo" type function allow that?

I think what causes this problem is that there are some users far more active on this site and often go in huge bursts. Nothing wrong with that of course, but given that this isn't a big site it tends to put an overwhelming feeling when you scroll down on /all/new and three pages are by one person. Another user last week did this in the qstorm subverse and I solved that problem by just blocking it.

In short, here are the problems as I see:

1) Too many subverses for how many posts and users (becomes complicated so everyone has to go /all/new)

2) The most active user is the admin that you can't block

3) A frustration for some brews because 1 and 2 are compounded because the most active user and admin is constantly policing postings to move them to the over crystallized maze of subverses.

If I go to reddit, I typically fall into 1 or 2 subreddits and don't bother going outside that and get the type of discussion I'm looking for. Here we don't have as much traffic and are then forced to participate in all the traffic, which makes it difficult to curate your experience. Most subverses here have postings once a month but have 5 or 6 mods.

Thoughts?
