Besides safety, one of the reasons behind PG&E’s (now moving into bankruptcy) imposition of the blackouts is a legal doctrine known as inverse condemnation, which makes California utilities responsible for wildfire destruction regardless of whether the utility acted negligently or not. California’s interpretation of inverse condemnation is unique. The tenet is applied in other states, usually to government entities that damage private property when engaged in a public service. California’s courts have ruled the principle can be applied to utilities. So the utilities are held liable for damage, even if they comply with all of California’s strict energy-related rules.[10]

Critics of inverse condemnation point out that it can lead to utility bankruptcies which can threaten the integrity of the California power grid as well as hurt financing the states’ efforts for renewable energy and against climate change, one of the causes of the intensified fire threat.[11]

This article does a pretty good job of explaining some of the issues:

What most would chalk up to failure of policy etc actually deliberate became deliberate at a certain point.

From the above link:

The company operates in tandem with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), a panel of regulators appointed by the governor. Unlike in a competitive marketplace, PG&E does not need to compete for customers by offering more value dollar-for-dollar than other companies. Instead, PG&E is guaranteed a rate of return on its investments and establishes with the CPUC the corresponding rates that customers will pay.

None of the panel of regulators appointed by the Governor have any experience working in the utilities industry.

Now I'll finally get to the social engineering part:

Highest taxes in country, largest number of illegals in country, enormous surplus of liberals they've now weaponized. Surrounding states are turning blue faster than expected as these religiously liberals flee for greener pastures. Of course they still vote for the stupid shit that got them into this situation. You've now begun to hack the electoral college as was done to Northern VA when the federal government essentially turned it into a DC suburb. (although this was achieved differently)

I feel what most people don't realize is that California is the beachhead of a much larger invasion. Globalist ideology involves a controlled decline of 1st world countries to raise the standard of living in 3rd world ones. George Soros openly admitted this in interviews in the 1990s that his goal was to crash the US dollar in order to create a "fairer world". Truth is he's just a currency manipulator who'd short his position and profit before the collapse as he's done in Ukraine, UK, and Malaysia just to name a few.

Part of his process involves funding and inciting "color revolutions" to create social unrest. First couple search results are must reads regarding these.

Now today Las Vegas announced itself as a sanctuary city. Prostitution is about to be a highly competitive market in Nevada. High paying jobs for illegal women that require no skill and lead to reproduction. It's the illegal beaner thots ideal circumstance. Whore houses won't be checking her citizenship and the local govt won't cooperate w/ ICE to deport her even if picked up on another charge.

Long story short the festering socialist liberal disease started in California is going to continue to spread.

This is sadly the future of the United States...

Demographics are destiny.

@pmyb2 would you be interested in hitting on this in Sunday's poalcast, I've got some other insights into how political ideologues seize power through policy being sold as "social justice" that actually has specific benefits for the extremely wealthy to the publics detriment.

Could be an interesting topic for Sunday.
