But is it a wipe board that you use chalk on or a wipe board that you use dry erase markers on? It’s important to know. Maybe it’s just easier to use the terms we’ve been using for 25-150 Years, but what the hell do I know?

Pro tip. If some jackass uses a permeant marker on a "Whiteboard" just write over it with a "dry erase" marker. It will remove it. You might have to do more than one pass though.

I have also seen a paper towel dipped in coffee clean off the permanent marker from a whiteboard.
