Just got new samsung/android phone. I have to use a few Chinese sites for business purposes and can't access 3 sites I need to check on a daily basis bc jewgle says site is not secure. I'm not using jewgle as browser and through settings jewgle is disabled. Such garbage... https://pic8.co/sh/L8S49s.jpg
I can always use laptop to conduct business but it's not always a viable option.
No, it's absolutely doing it's job telling you this. That website is http:// only and any good modern browser should warn you about it.
Interesting. Last phone didn't do that, but also none of the 3 sites ask for or need any personal info other than a user name and password. I don't keep anything important on phone so it doesn't concern me to access a site that Google says will access my personal data.
It's not so much what it asks for, non-ssl sites are just insecure in general because you've passed your creds in plaintext.
