What kinda mines?
If you're looking for something a bit more modern:
mbmmllc - talks about equipment, processes, etc. Dan Hurd - does it the old fashioned way with panning, prospecting, etc.
Most of them are doing underground metal mines. Some are kind of boring because they're just adits in rock, but sometimes the explorers will find a lot of cool artifacts left behind. The guy that does the Shango066 electronics work found a fully functional electric train still in one of them. Applied batteries and ran it up and down the mine track for a while, that was cool. I think the same one they found an intact mine phone system. I thought it would be interesting to put a new dry cell in and crank the magneto. Who is going to answer 500 feet below?
The old ones
