Just because a thing wasn't invented by the jews, doesn't mean they can't use it to subvert and destroy people.

The problem is that modern society is largely devoid of meaning for a lot of people, so they want to escape. Then certain interests see room to benefit at the expense of others.

Just look how culturally ubiquitous it is - They push booze on people everywhere nowadays. Basically all pop media is telling you your life would be better if you got wasted. Blow your expendable income, ruin your health, do reckless things that compromise you, etc.

Who benefits from the youth of the western world throwing away their potential?

I don't drink anymore, but I'm kind of disappointed that there's not much normal consumption culture here. It's not cultural to have a glass of wine with dinner or a single alcoholic beverage. The only thing that's promoted is drinking to get drunk.
