This is why I supported not banning Hans. I know I'm the odd man out but if poal can't handle the worst users at their worst how do I know it can handle me or you at your worst. The point is to want to be decent person but not be on a site makes your ability to do that at one particular moment a matter of being banned.
The idea to me, that we've all been searching for is a place not full of intentional assholary but a reddit where on if one day I make an ass of myself I can still get on it the next day even if I pissed a few people off.
The point is to not have to worry about it. People just want to be themselves. Letting people be themselves means dealing with people who aren't that pleasant when they are themselves. I'd rather deal with unpleasant people than censorship, especially when I can just not click on their links.
To think I could avoid advocating for censorship just by not freaking out about a link I could always not click.

Shepherd you seem like a nice enough guy...but if you think Reddit will be a better overall experience for you, why wouldn't you head on over there? Your complaint seems insincere.
