The marriage also, it used to be a sacred institution not so long ago, divorce wasn't an option for my grandparents, for catholics of that generation and before, divorce was just not even thinkable. Nowadays a marriage is quite often only a gateway to divorce rape, and you won't see your kids and you get to be a slave, pay a pension so your ex can enjoy her new boyfriend... It's not like that everywhere, but in the US I know that there aren't just a couple of isolated instances of such scenario...

A man alone can live on almost nothing, once you have wife and kids... It's no longer just the story of bobafett and his ass
