Do i come to your house and tell you how to wipe your ass? Or how to mow your lawn? This is the system we have in place developed over nearly 3 years by aou and boobs. It works and we are all fine with it. I get it, its hard moving from one site to another but you(collective you) need to realize that just because you came here in large numbers it doesnt mean this site owes you anything or that it should or will change the way it operates.

There are a few things that just don't make sense to me, like that the down vote button is not supposed to be used as you'd intuitively think, and is only acceptable as a report button for some reason

I hate this break this to you, but you nor anybody else owns "this site" except for the admins who pay for the site and the server. If they choose to change because of the overwhelming support for change, it's their choice. They also can choose not to change despite the support for the change.
