im currently searching the web for a linux pre-installed mini-pc type system.....in australia.........nothing available from retailers within 600k radius. looks like I have to buy online....yet I don't trust it.

I've been using Linux since before Windows 95 was released. I highly recommend MX Linux for newbs. It's pretty basic and I don't have to mess with it much at all. If you try it, let me know if you need any help.
