we implemented a number of features to combat what we saw as Putt's failings at voat

so... we're not especially inclined to change them

because they work... been at it for nearly 3 years now

I respect the decision to make certain choices to more actively manage certain problems. I did not see everything they (you?) see running the website. I just feel that whatever the story was with NI, it didn’t have to go that way.

You guys have been overrun with goats. There are bound to be some growing pains. Occassionally there are some very bad actors that one has to deal with. I did not find him to be one of them.
