Well I for one, usually only leave closed end comments.

I do not check replies because I can no longer tell if I'm talking to and actual user, a jew, a fed, or a stupid fucking AI.

I know this isn't directed at me because we haven't had a recent discourse. That being said, I sometimes don't respond when either you've made a good point(I'll probably tell you so), I have nothing to respond with (you'll get a like), or I simply don't care anymore(not worth my time).
