You don't love this place and agree with every popular opinion or what power users push as the approved opinion, then you must be a Jew working for the IDF.

Anyway, I had this idea to have a site where trained moderators lift up or lower content based on usefulness for discussion and not like/hate or agree/disagree. I have no faith that the community can do such a thing. Almost all members of any community are all about winning arguments and not discussion. Of course the first problem that could arise is the powermod that begins to manipulate every comment and post for winning. There would have to be an overarching authority where this type of behavior can be reported. That person would be the site's creator who is dedicated to people having discussions and not winning. I wonder how such a place would turn out. I think most people would be whiny little babies if they can't win and people of different viewpoints could actually be heard. Then they'd pack up and go to sites like this where dissenting opinions are attacked with illogical, emotion-based bullying.
