She was mostly bothered that my son found it hilarious
Noted. I hit the mark. Magic words lose their power if they're put in the proper perspective early enough. Or often enough after the impression has been made.
The entire cancel culture is based upon magic words. I have rejected the very premise from the outset.
There is no power in this world beyond that which we grant unto others. I'm lucky to live in a place where I'm able to prove the truth of that with armed force if need be.
Is it horrible that I feel like perhaps I should include some kind of warning at the beginning now? I never even considered the idea that someone might be listening with their family.
Put a nsfw label on it and leave it at that I wouldn’t try to tame it down or make a family friendly version. I’ll just listen with my ear buds or tell my son it’s like being up north with daddy’s friends “nothing gets repeated”.
If you need a NSFW warning for anything related to this site, then you're the person who needs the warning on the snow blower that says not to use it on the roof....
Common sense.
I don't know man, for the podcast maybe an argument could be made.
