I have always thoroughly loved this site and everything it stood for, and the general atmosphere and posting style prior to the voat exodus.

People were free to post and comment whatever they wanted, and while the occasional 'ERMEHGERD NIGGER KIKE FAGGOT' post happened, they were mostly funny and ironic.

I have openly identified as a shitskinned faggot since joining this site (its literally my username) and never had or experienced any mass downvotes due to this, I have no intention to pretend to be white, straight or anything I am not just to try and make friends online.

I joined this site after simply 'coming out' as a black person in a single post on Voat led to multiple users there launching a mass downvote attack against me, and then saw my karma drop from several hundred to negative while I slept overnight, and then I was unable to post anything there anymore again.

I have now experienced the exact same shit happening to my account here since all the userbase from Voat has started coming here. They accuse me of being downvoted only because I keep talking about being black or a faggot, when I literally only mention it in less than 1% of my comments and when it is on topic, or simply a 'LOL IM A NIGGER' self derogatory meme somewhere like /s/Niggers.

You can see from my post history https://poal.co/u/Shitskinned_Faggot/posts That pretty much none of my posts are simply about being black or being gay, but in any normal interaction online or in the real world, these topics obviously come up and I have no reason why I should hide either of those things (well I can't exactly get away with pretending to be white irl).

The typical voat user simply sees one post or comment from any user self identifying as gay and / or black, and then proceeds to mass downvote every post and comment they have ever made while claiming that the user is only being mass downvoted because they wont shut up about being black or gay, which you can clearly see from my post history is a load of bullshit.

When this originally happened on Voat as well, the first thing I did when I came here was link to my Voat post history to show that 99%+ of my content was simply normal everyday content, and I was therefore mass downvoted just from one or two comments I had made identifying myself as black / gay.

This is exactly what they are starting to do here now, any mention that a user is black and / or gay will see their entire post and comment history get downvoted by most of these voatfugees.
