Either at Fort Knox or Fort Ord, heard a spooky story from a soldier from somewhere in the Deep South about trees in the area he was from that had a tendency to walk about and change positions during thunderstorms. He seemed shaken as he told the tale to a group of about ten of us. He seemed relieved to finally be getting something off his chest that had haunted him for many years.

Did not appear to want attention. Acted wigged out.

Freaky Deaky!

Ent mischief?

It's not like the trees molested him in his sleep though... or did they?

He was stoned. It is theoretically possible that the sheer weight of what he was relating was as much or more hallucinogen-related than memory-related.

These may have been tidbits I negated to relate.

Was that wicked of me?

Was that a lie?
