No. They're probably not good to eat, but they don't look like any sort of variety that'll be toxic to touch, and worms deal with fungus all the time.

But I'm very curious about the styrophone worm bin. How long does it last? I assume you keep it in the shade?
I've got a bunch of those and have been wanting to make a worm bin. I'd never considered using them for the bin.

This is an experiment. I got the styrofoam cooler from ordering some meat online and just kept it for something like this. The lid broke, so I had to find a use for it or burn it, so worms. It sits in my garage, and I feed it coffee grounds and last night's beer.
