Nice floor boards and crown molding too and ambient window view. How's the rack you were assembling when we were on the phone
The rack is nice, I will show you later, but the bed is all fucked up man. I bought a full sized hybrid spring and memory foam mattress from Walmart, it said a lot of shit on the box, talking about how great it was, but the one thing that stuck out to me was it said
No Box-Spring Required!
and I was like, whoa, that is a bold claim, but mattresses sure have come a long way since I was a kid, they didn't use to come in vacuum sealed boxes, that's for sure, maybe they figured out a clever way to get around the box-spring.
So I buy the mattress, and I buy a cheap metal bed frame, and I get to lugging that heavy-ass shit back to my house, happy I didn't have to buy a box-spring.
Regardless, I assemble the bedframe, unbox the mattress, and test out the claims.
Let me tell you, it sure as fuck needs a box-spring, or at least some sort of board. So now my bed is on the ground, like some sort of peasant, until I find a solution to this problem.
But whatever, life is good, I am glad all I got to worry about right now is a box-spring.
The "No box-spring required" mattresses are meant for frames that are daybeds or bunk beds. They won't work with standard bed frame that is just a metal rectangle.
I'll take one on the train for you . Alternatively remove the mismatched wood from beneath stairs for a baseboard and hope jews don't crawl out
