Sun dogs only form on really, really cold days. I’ve been seeing these on days when the temperature was around freezing. Not normal.
Today was crazy warm for this time of year in Philly. In the 50s all day.

I've seen an enormous amount of strange sun pics and videos lately. There was a video posted yesterday in a Facebook group of what looked like aa nuclear bomb going off in St Peters, MO around 4:50pm. I've seen dozens of others in the past few days of other similar anomalies. It's not just you
Everyone keeps saying it is super common and shit, and I am sure it is at higher latitudes, but I have never seen or heard of this happening in Philly.
