We have local foods that aren't available out of their region, paw paw is a great example.
Same with any region. Can you buy fresh Hatch chili peppers or fresh cranberries in your local area?

Yeah that's a good point too. Local foods aside a lot of what we cook with is available pretty much anywhere and unfortunately thanks to media, most people would assume the US is entirely goyslop.
