It's not so much the cold, it is the fact that it is dangerous if you fuck up. You need to control your speed or things get dangerous really fast. Low IQ people legitimately can't do it safely. They always bust their shit and realize they are out of their league. Same thing with sports like sailing. There is no afirmative action to save you on the water. Same goes for all extreme sports. They will try them out, get a toe in, but never push the envelope.
